Office Manager - Joyce D. Jones CPC CMPE has been with Surgical Associates for 37 years. In addition to managing Surgical Associates, she is an original founder and leader for the Bradley County chapter of the Medical Group Managers Association (MGMA), winner of the Athena Award for Women in Business and the MGMA Administrator of the Year.

Front Office Staff - Your first contact with Surgical Associates will be with one of our friendly, helpful front office staff as they answer phone calls and assist with check-in when patients come in for appointments. In addition to check-in, check-out, and answering the phones, members of our front office staff can help you with billing and insurance questions, appointments for referrals, FMLA or other work/school forms and requests for medical records.

Clinical Staff - Our clinicians in the back office are the Certified Medical Assistants that assist with your surgical care. During your office visits, they will ask about the reason for the visit, take vital signs, assist the surgeons with exams and office procedures, and schedule tests or surgeries that are ordered during your appointment. Clinicians at our Cleveland, TN facility work with cancer screenings, laparoscopies, colonoscopies, and other procedures. Phone calls with questions about symptoms, surgeries, pre-op or post-op care, medications, dressings or wound issues will be directed to the clinicians' voice mail and those calls are usually returned by the end of the day.
