Halloween Block Party: Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 This 26 year Cleveland tradition is a fun and safe Halloween event that is enjoyed annually by over 15,000 people. It’s a free event with a carnival like atmosphere, complete with costumes, live musical entertainment and food of all kinds. Get the kids and join us downtown for this Cleveland tradition... an evening of family fun, food, great music...and maybe even a scare or two. You’ll find blocks full of food and fun all around the Courthouse Square. Cleveland’s Downtown Block Party... it’s the place to be on Halloween! Activities: Treat Street - it’s a Block Party favorite with tons of candy! Located on Church Street. Treat Street opens at 6:00 and is sponsored by Mars Chocolate. |

Costume Contest: Children of all ages love the Costume Contest at the Fun Stage at the Post Office Annex. Categories are included for all ages from infants to adults. Trophies and candy are awarded for winners in each category. Sponsored by Mars Chocolate. Air Toys: Bouncing and jumping fun in the Air Toys at the DARE Midway. Open until 9 p.m. and sponsored by the Cleveland Police Department and the Bradley County Sheriff's Department. Vendors: More than 40 booths complete the festival atmosphere with all types of delicious foods including barbecue ribs, grilled chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, funnel cakes, treats for the kids, games, and much more.
