LifeCircle Women’s Healthcare is proud to offer the area’s only free standing Lactation Clinic! Because the clinic is free standing, it is open to all breastfeeding mothers, even if you are not a patient of LifeCircle Women’s Healthcare. Under the New Affordable Healthcare Act, most insurance companies are accepted and will cover your lactation consultation.
To make an appointment for the Lactation Clinic call (423) 339-1400. The Lactation Clinic is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:00-5:00 and Friday 8:00-12:30.
LifeCircle Women’s Healthcare offers a comprehensive breastfeeding class every third Tuesday of the month. These classes are FREE to LifeCircle patients or $25.00 if you are not a patient.
A breastfeeding support group is open to ALL breastfeeding mothers, expecting mothers, and all those who support breastfeeding mothers.
The support group is held every second Saturday of the month from 10-11am. It is FREE to all, please come join us!

Christine Sneed, IBCLC, CLE, CCCE
Christine has been a part of the LifeCircle team since 2002 and has worked in the maternal infant health field for over 18 years.
She started in this field as a Labor and Postpartum Doula and has attended over 300 births in her career. Educating families in the childbearing year is more than a career choice for Christine, it is a passion. You only need to speak with Christine for a few moments to realize she is passionate about the maternal infant healthcare field.
Christine is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, as well as a CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association) Certified Lactation Educator, and Certified Childbirth Educator. Christine’s favorite saying is, “No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care,” and care she does. She is by far her patient’s greatest advocate!!!
In addition to working for LifeCircle as a patient advocate, childbirth educator, and lactation consultant, Christine is also on faculty with CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), training healthcare professionals to become certified lactation educators (CLE) in the United States and Europe.
Christine has been joyfully married to Alan since 2002. They enjoy traveling together, especially on beach vacations and playing with their cat. They also volunteer together in a ministry to help others enhance their marriage and family life!
